From the east and south our lodge is bordered by colorful meadows and fields, and its western edge adjoins the shore of a cobalt blue lake at the foot of a gently rolling hill. The north end is bounded by a small beech forest growing on the edge of a ravine, with a scenic stream running through it and into the lake.

On summer evenings you can listen to the chirping of crickets under a moonlit, starry sky and observe the fog moving silently over the fields. It’s also an idyllic place to watch brilliant meteor showers and magnificent rosy sunsets. When it rains, you can still observe nature close up while sitting comfortably in the glass-enclosed sun porch by the pool or in the conservatory adjacent to the sitting-room. And irrespective of the time of day or the weather, you can always make yourself comfortable in the lounge, in front of the warm, crackling fireplace, and feel the cozy, friendly atmosphere of this home-away-from-home.
