Information about personal data

Guest’s personal data are processed on the basis of a service agreement concluded between the Guest and Guesthouse. The purpose of personal data processing is to provide hotel services or other similar services, which are provided by the Guesthouse at the Guest’s request. Furthermore, Guest’s personal data may be processed by video surveillance used at the Guesthouse. The purpose of video surveillance is to protect the safety of the Guest and other persons staying on the premises of the Guesthouse or in its vicinity.

If the Guest provides personal data regarding preferences regarding their stay or services provided, the Guesthouse may process this personal data for the purpose of improving the quality of services provided by thegusthouse or ensuring the Guest’s comfort or providing additional services to the Guest, including ensuring Guest satisfaction solely in connection with the continuous improvement of the services provided by the guesthouse. The legal basis for the processing of personal data for the above-mentioned purposes is guesthouse’s legitimate interest (Article 6, Section 1, Letter f of the GDPR).

The Guesthouse informs that providing personal data to the extent necessary to identify the Guest is a contractual and statutory requirement (when documenting sales made to the Guest with a VAT invoice). Failure to provide personal data prevents the conclusion of a contract with the guesthouse and prevents the issuance of a VAT invoice.

The guesthouse informs that each Guest has the right to access, correct and update their personal data, as well as the right to transfer data, object to processing, limit processing and have personal data deleted if there are legal grounds for doing so.

The Guesthouse informs that the Guest’s personal data will be stored for the entire period of providing the service to the Guest, and the data will also be stored for the limitation period of any claims, including tax and civil claims. However, personal data processed by video monitoring will be stored for a period of 14 days.

Guest’s personal data will not be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling.
The Guesthouse informs that Guest’s personal data can be shared only on the basis of applicable law.
Siedlisko informs about the right to lodge a complaint with the body supervising the processing of personal data, i.e. the Personal Data Protection Office in Warsaw, ul. Stawki 2.
